Project Manager II

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Irvine, CA

$115 – $125K

Overview:

The Project Manager II will be responsible for developing, planning, and having direct control over projects associated with pharmaceutical manufacturing: drug product manufacturing, aseptic processing and filling. The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects by working directly with both customers and internal support teams.

Responsibilities:

· Bring together teams.

· Develop project plans, timelines, plan meetings, manage budgets and project costs.

· Assist in the development of products.

· Manage teams with strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

· Manage team relationships to ensure project outcomes, objectives and to make sure milestones are met.

· Direct and coordinate activities of cross functional team projects, within the engineering, purchasing, quality assurance, manufacturing and maintenance departments.

· Responsible for product throughout the whole of the lifecycle process.

Required experience and skills:

· Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical device industry.

· Project management experience, specifically in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

· To be able to demonstrate leadership skills and cross functional teamwork skills.

· To be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels.

· Aseptic manufacturing experience: sterile ophthalmic solution and suspension as well as sterile semi solids experience required.

· Excellent written and verbal skills.

· Organisation and multi-tasking skills.

· Motivating others in a fast pace environment.

· Strong leadership skills.

· Familiar with OSHA, EPA and other FDA regulatory requirements.

· Knowledge of GMP’s, CFR’s, ICH and ISO Regulations.

Required qualifications and education:

· BS in Science, Engineering or related field.

· 5+ years of industry related experience.

· PMP Certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
