Propane Driver/Technician - Delta Junction - (USA0001EO)

What does this role look like?
As a Propane Driver/Technician you will be responsible for driving a designated route to load and/or unload freight in a safe and timely manner as well as inspecting Propane Systems at residential and commercial locations.
Some of your main responsibilities will be:
- Setting tanks at customer locations
- Updating information in Propane Asset Tracking System (PATS)
- Delivering propane in bulk to customer locations
- Understanding and implementing company, state and federal regulations
- Communicating with customers and finding solutions for system deficiencies
- Scheduling work with customers
- Performing propane pressure tests inside customer homes
- Operating a one-ton or larger service vehicle with a crane to move propane tanks
- Handing, inspecting, certifying and filling small propane tanks
- Delivering fuels
- Other tasks as assigned
- Being available for on-call work after normal working hours
New Experienced Drivers will receive a sign-on bonus of $3,500.
Must-haves:
- High School diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education
- At least one (1) year of experience operating CDL equipment
- Possess a Class A or B CDL with the Tanker and Hazardous Materials endorsements
- Meet current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Possess a current medical certificate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook and Word
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience with propane or natural gas
- Pipefitting or plumbing experience
- Crane, Boom Truck experience

- You capture, interpret, report and use data to communicate or prepare clear and concise documents
- You refer to logistics and transportation principles, concepts and methodologies including inventory management, moving products via various modes, cost analysis and resource optimization
- You rely on your knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of import forwarding and customs brokerage in a domestic and/or international capacity

Working Conditions
Works both inside an office environment and outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
FLSA Status
The position is Non-Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. All work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health are expected to be respected and complied.
