Job Summary:

Woodfin-Your Home Team is seeking a professional Propane Service Technician to join our team! This position will be responsible for the delivery, setting, and installation propane tanks and outside lines, conducting system tests consistent with company standards, and maintaining related documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures that Company and Government safety, policy, and regulatory standards are met and maintains zero preventable accidents.
• Maintains safety and compliance records.
• Performs all tank installations or removals and operates a crane truck and tank set dolly.
• Installs exterior gas line; conducts system tests; and readies installation for inspection.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of propane appliance installation and service.
• Finds and repairs leaks at customer sites.
• Operates a trencher to run gas lines.
• Repairs, and maintains tanks and cylinders.
• Secures truck and equipment consistent with security policy.
• Operates and maintains service vehicle in accordance with Company and government regulations; follows dispatch policy, plan, and procedures.
• Delivers fuel as required and meets established performance standard metrics.
• Works a flexible schedule with after-hours emergency call-outs.
• Communicates clearly and effectively to convey information to new and existing customers.
• Maintains a professional image and superior customer service.
• Notifies supervisor of any issues that might impact safety, customer satisfaction, productivity, and other established goals and standards.
• Succeeds in a team-oriented environment.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• Prior experience servicing propane lines and equipment is required.
• Class C HAZMAT certification is required.

Job Requirements:

• Fluent English speaking and writing to communicate with customers.
• Unrestricted driver's license in this state.
• Can operate a standard-transmission vehicle.
• Willing to periodically work extended hours during peak times.
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
