We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our accounting team. Experience and enthusiasm are a must. The Portfolio Accountant works in the accounting department and with a variety of other departments to ensure the timely and accurate financial reporting for properties under management.

Duties include but are not limited to:

· Managing full cycle of accounting activities for the properties assigned

· Processing and overseeing daily functions of A/P and A/R

· Maintain accuracy of the general ledger.

· Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements

· Reconciliation and account research

· Analyze financial information

· Ensure compliance.

· Assist in financial audits & preparation of income tax return worksheets.

· Assist in completion end of month close procedures.

· Bank reconciliations

· Mortgage reconciliations

· Internal, bank, vendor and owner communications

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3+ years’ Accounting work experience is essential.

· Associates or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field a plus.

· Experience with real estate is helpful.

· Ability to prepare, review and understand financial statements.

· Experience in property management is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
