Job description
Level 1 carpentry instructors will instruct students in building materials, hand and power tools, reading plans and elevations, floor systems, wall and ceiling framing, introduction to concrete, reinforcing materials and forms, windows and exterior door and basic stair layouts, and construction site safety.
Level 2 carpentry instructors instruct students in commercial drawings, roofing applications, thermal and moisture protection, exterior finishing, cold-formed steel framing, drywall installation, drywall finishing, doors and door hardware, suspended ceilings, cabinet installation as well as window, door, and ceiling trim.
Carpentry Instructors are responsible for teaching the curriculum, maintaining accurate attendance records, and ensuring student safety protocols.
