Part-time Instructors / Trainers – Project Analyst Courses (skills and certifications)

Position Summary:

NuPaths is looking for instructors to teach courses that develop entry-level project management skills and prepare students to earn industry certifications (CompTIA and IAPM).

Teach Processes and Components of Project Success (CompTIA Project+) -OR- Introduction to Agile Project Management (IAPM Certified Junior Agile Project Manager).

Course schedules vary, but are primarily in the evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 PM EST on T, W, Th in Zoom.

Course Description: Processes and Components for Project Success
The course is designed to provide you with the skills needed to be a successful project coordinator in today's rapidly changing business landscape.

This course prepares students to pass the CompTIA Project+ certification exam.

Course Description: Introduction to Agile Project Management
Learn the basics of being a product owner, Scrum master or member of a Scrum Team as part of managing dynamic projects with incremental product deliverables.

This course prepares students to pass the IAPM Junior Agile Project Manager certification exam.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate(s) will work with NuPaths to prepare the materials for course sessions, deliver the materials in the online class sessions, grade assignments and provide feedback, prepare students to pass the certification exams, and work with students individually and in small groups throughout the course.

Required qualifications:

3+ year’s project management or project analyst work experience, including experience in an agile project management environment. Teaching or training experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in a related discipline. Project management certifications. HS, career school, or higher education teaching experience.
