Job description
Assess nutrition status, counsel based on identified needs, and determine nutrition plan of care. Make appropriate referrals and document status clients in the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Conduct nutrition interview and nutrition assessments to determine eligibility. Provide individual counseling for clients addressing nutrition recommendations and breastfeeding. Occasionally provide Nutritionist coverage for community outreach or nutrition education programing in the community.
