Highlights:
- Academic position (Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor). A hybrid model with state government benefits, teaching services, and private practice pay.
- Base salary plus quarterly bonus based on collections after base salary and benefits are met. Current providers exceed $ 400,000 with academic rank.

Job description:
- Rotation-based schedule.
- Three main acute hospitals: Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a 495-bed acute care medical center and is the main teaching hospital (ICU and pulmonary consult teaching services). Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital is a 450-bed medical center (ICU and pulmonary consult services with help of ACNP). Amarillo VA health care system is a 44 operating beds (ICU and pulmonary teaching consult services with 2 clinics per week)
- Associated hospitals: Vibra hospital (LTAC) and Vibra Acute Rehabilitation Hospitals (Both ICU and pulmonary consults with help of ACNPs).
- Pulmonary Clinic at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Flexible per your interest and pace (NP available)
- ACNPs are trained to perform all pulmonary and ICU procedures.
- Sleep service is available. Candidates with sleep training are preferred.

- Amarillo metropolitan area population is 262,000 near the center of the 26-county Panhandle region that has a population that exceeds 427,000. The total outreach population to surrounding counties may double this population
- A crossroads between Oklahoma City and Albuquerque on I-40 and about 6 hours away from Dallas and Denver
- Great community to raise kids. Public schools provide a great environment and education to make your kids competitive at the national level. This year, a 4th grader from Woodland elementary school will participate in a national spelling bee to be held in June in Washington DC. Many high school athletes gain access to college athletic programs in tennis and volleyball.
- Everything is accessible within 10-15 minutes distance and traffic is low
- Major attractions are 4-6 hours away in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma City, and Dallas making weekend gateways possible.
