This individual is responsible for providing excellent customer service to other RDO Water employees involved in the sales process. They will be responsible for approving quotes, assisting the sales force in pricing their deals, ordering inventory, as well as the invoicing of direct shipping.
Specific Duties Include:
- Process orders for new inventory fulfillment.
- Search for inventory within RDO Water locations and work with vendors to fulfill company
inventory needs. - Approve, win, and final approve deals in quoting system within the accepted guidelines.
- Use company-provided systems/tools (i.e., PFW) to generate quotes, adjust margins, and go to bid.
- Provide timely response on vendor and customer inquiries.
- Effectively understand vendor rebate programs and freight policies.
- Processing of warranty claims, including account coding, reporting or other assigned duties as required.
- Update the stock records of the inventory in the company business system.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Water.
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
