Position Overview

As a Quality Analyst within PNC's Enterprise Data Governance organization, you will be based in Rocky Mount, NC or another location within the PNC footprint.

This is a hybrid position which provides flexibility to work both in the office and remotely and is based in Rocky Mount, NC. Certain job responsibilities may require time in the office on a regular basis.



Skill sets needed for the position include strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You will be part of a team that reviews data elements that are missing and/or incorrect by researching and analyzing documents to determine information to be supplied to our internal clients.

A strong background in Mortgage Loans and/or Home Equity Lending would be helpful in performing the research. Individual should be able to change their thought process at a moment’s notice due to an ever-changing shift in project needs. This is also work in a production environment. Reviewer should be able to focus for long periods of time to meet goals so that the team can meet their scheduled deadlines for delivering a final product.

Work experience includes experience with the following:
  • Mortgage/Home Equity Credit Analysis
  • Mortgage/Home Equity Credit review/underwriting
  • Analyze mortgage/home equity loan documents
  • Production environment

Job Description

  • Supports the development and continuous improvement of the quality management system.
  • Generates reports for distribution to various users in the organization, customers, or suppliers.
  • Participates in supplier quality improvement initiatives; works with suppliers to develop and improve incoming quality levels.
  • Conducts quality analysis; identifies systemic issues, facilitates effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Provides conclusions and recommendations for issues and/or continuous improvement projects.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
