The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Specialist manages the overall accreditation and regulatory activities for PPSAT. The QAA Specialist is part of the small but mighty Compliance Team working across 4 states with 14 health centers. They develop and implement organizational initiatives to support both accreditation and regulatory compliance. The QAA Specialist promotes an accreditation readiness program that focuses on collaboration, high quality care, and patient safety. In partnership with the Risk and Quality Management Director, the QAA Specialist collaborates with various key stakeholders to develop an effective infrastructure that ensures the organizational goals are sustained throughout the affiliate.

What You’ll Do:
Manage the implementation of the affiliate-wide Risk and Quality Management work plan.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to raise awareness of and plan for RQM activities.
Research and collaborate with stakeholders to develop sustainable systems, workflows, and infrastructure to support inspection readiness.
Collaborate with stakeholders to review and evaluate work plans to ensure progress.
Lead the ongoing evaluation, planning and support of the accreditation and licensing inspection process.
Develop systems to monitor, review, assess, and communicate around the accreditation program.
Identify areas of opportunity to ensure accreditation program initiatives are being met.
Identify regulatory vulnerabilities and report to director/organizational leaders.
Partner with regulatory content experts to identify risk areas and support development, implementation and monitoring of regulatory improvement processes.
Ensure accreditation and regulatory resources are up to date and pertinent changes are shared and implemented.
Provide expertise and leadership in the development and implementation of accreditation action plans.
Collaborate and develop response to accrediting organizations and regulatory bodies as needed.
Educates staff concerning current trends in accreditation and regulatory standards.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday working 40 hours per week from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. This position will work remotely with some on-site work. This position will require the candidate to travel at least 15% within the PPSAT service area.

Compensation: Starting salary for this position $47,500.00 annually. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate's experience and internal equity within the pay grade. PPSAT's compensation philosophy is based in equity and transparency. Built from data driven compensation studies, our positions are placed within a developed pay grade.
