PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and execute manual test cases
  • Develop, implement, and execute automated UI tests
  • Analyze user requirements to assist in the development of user stories
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Business Stakeholders
  • Advise the development team on QA best practices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong experience with at least one functional UI automated testing tool (TestComplete preferred)
  • Strong functional testing skills, specifically relating to the planning/development/execution of automated and manual test cases
  • Strong defect reporting skills: able to write clear, concise, descriptive bug reports and verify bug fixes
  • Experience in environments utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong technical competencies
  • Well organized and self-motivated with strong customer service, project, and analytical skills
  • High level of initiative, professionalism, and leadership with strong interpersonal/communications skills
  • Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines; to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years prior hands-on experience in automated quality assurance/testing (Web, Desktop, and Mobile)
  • Experience with multiple automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Experience testing/querying SQL databases
  • SAP and/or PeopleSoft testing experience, including custom PeopleTools applications
  • Strong understanding of coding standards and best practices
  • Advanced hands-on experience in building automated regression testing capabilities using SmartBear TestComplete
  • Experience in the Energy Sector and/or Natural Gas Distribution/Supply
  • Certifications or professional training in QA/Testing/Test Automation principles

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
