Description

The Defense Acquisitions University (DAU) Support Team is seeking an E-Learning Quality Assurance Associate to review its training assets for face-to-face, hybrid, and online courseware, as well as other related assets.

Responsibilities

· Review training assets for grammar, internal consistency, functionality (for web-based products), and adherence to project style and design guides, prior to client submission. Produce a deficiency report for use by the development team.

· Review training assets for 508 compliance. Produce a deficiency report and work with the development team to remedy any deficiencies or defects.

· Identify emerging issues from the review process that may lead to new requirements that will need to be incorporated into future versions of process documents.

· Work with individual ISDs and development teams to create additional QA requirements specific to their course’s development efforts, when they deviate from the generally accepted QA standards or address situations not addressed by global standards

· Assist the QA manager in maintaining QA surveillance processes as they pertain to the content development and production programming processes, as new requirements are identified

· Assist the QA manager in maintaining QA process documentation, as required

Requirements

· East coast core hours of 9am to 4pm

· Reliable high-speed internet connection

· Strong critical thinking skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong information technology skills

· Strong editorial and writing skills

· Strong understanding of Section 508 combined with experience reviewing materials for compliance

· Strong experience reviewing web-based materials for grammar, continuity, content completeness, and functionality

· Experience as an ISD or development team member for online courseware projects

· Experience with Adobe Captivate, Composica, and Articulate Storyline 360, Rise

· Experience working with DAU or other federal agencies

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Experience in MS Office
