Job Title: Quality Assurance II

Location: Hartford, CT (onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Required Skills/Experience:

The candidate must have the following skills or experience:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology, exposure to programming in a 3rd generation languages and knowledge of software design patterns.

Experience as a tester for IT projects

Experience in NIEM XML or other complex XML Standard

Experience in testing web services manually using Soap UI/Postman

Working knowledge of IBM Rational Jazz Suite is a plus

An ability to understand the complexity of a large integrated system and to trace problems to their source

Experience with SOA technologies

Experience in scripting complex SQ queries (Microsoft SQL server)

Proficient in MS Excel

Work cooperatively with other Team Members including Team Leader/Manager, Developers, Testers, Designers and others

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hartford, CT 06106: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• tester for IT projects: 5 years (Required)
• NIEM XML or other complex XML Standard: 4 years (Required)
• testing web services manually using Soap UI/Postman: 4 years (Required)
• SOA technologies: 3 years (Required)
