Aerospace Quality Inspector - Parson, KS

9 month contract to direct hire

Pay Rate: $28+ per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed and every other Sunday; 6pm-6:30am (3rd Shift)

Responsibilities:

• The inspector tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
• Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
• Performs flat plate first parts and production inspection and supports production personnel in determining conformance of product by using product acceptance media.
• Completes First Article Inspection Reports.
• Generates MRR Tags.
• Participates in root cause analyst for corrective actions.
• Performs Receiving Inspection and validates Product Verification.
• Performs Final Inspection/Dimensional Inspection and reviews work orders for accuracy.

Requirements:

• Aerospace Experience
• Ability to use measuring instruments including but not limited to calipers, height gage, and scales
• Ability to determine acceptable product versus unacceptable product at inspection stages
• 5 years related experience in job function and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mylars and other inspection media
• Knowledge of ISO, AS9100 standards, and SPC is a plus
