Our Quality Assurance Manager is a critical component of the Rollins Quality Assurance team, requiring a wide variety of skills and talents. Comprehensive, well documented and fair auditing of operational performance provides the opportunity for company-wide impact.

Your scope focuses on operations in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan and top candidates live and reside in the southern suburbs of Chicago, IL for best coverage of the territory.

Responsibilities:
You Will . . .
  • Perform Branch Operational Reviews in branches for compliance to procedures and policies. Branch Operational Reviews include, but are not limited to:
    • On-site inspections of customer accounts
    • Review of customer files and related documentation
    • Review of training files for branch employees
  • Perform safety checklists, vehicle inspections, and assist in identifying regulatory concerns
  • Complete reports to document findings and results of Branch Operational Reviews. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Any corrective action and follow-up measures to be taken
    • Recommendations for Branch Manager and branch employees
  • Provide in-branch training for all employees. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Termite and pest control procedures
    • Training requirements
    • Administrative requirements
    • State and local regulations
  • Conduct Precision Protection Gold Medal (PPGM), and other account inspections for Orkin and Orkin Franchises
  • Conduct Integrated Pest Management training for customers, when requested
  • Provide support for any existing or proposed PPGM customers
    • Provide assistance to Account Managers, when requested, during and after the PPGM sales process
    • Inspect and troubleshoot PPGM accounts, when requested
    • Provide training on InSite (customer data portal) to branch managers
  • Communicate and coordinate with Branch Managers and customers concerning the required PPGM inspection process
  • Assist service, sales, and customers in training and technology implementation
  • Complete weekly reports that include but are not limited to:
    • Inspections
    • Presentations
    • Any other required report
  • Compile PPGM service evaluation scores and report findings to Quality Assurance and Technical Services Coordinator I
  • Work and communicate verbally, and in writing, with all levels of management (Branch, Region, Division, and Franchises)
  • Utilize attention to detail to help operations management improve and drive quality

Additional Responsibilities

  • Due diligence inspections, upon request
  • Identify and drive change for process improvement
  • Work on and potentially lead, project teams to assist in collaborate with others on process improvements
  • Perform additional duties as requested

Qualifications:

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • 2-4 year degree or equivalent
  • 7 - 10 years of pest control industry experience in operational, quality or technical roles. Education + experience will be considered
  • Ability to travel extensively in the southeast part of the US
    • Overnight Travel Required: Branch and customer visits at an estimated 70%
  • Ability to work independently to communicate, schedule, conduct and document operational and gold medal audits
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate with minimal instruction
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to learn and proficiently use software systems for audit documentation
  • Support continuous improvement through active participation on a team
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all information
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others to top performance through training
  • Demonstrated ability to take audit findings and communicate it in a supportive, constructive manner to improve performance
  • Proven success in developing verbal and written communication to non-subordinates

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • BS/BA Degree
  • ACE and PCQI certifications
