This role supports the missions to Share Christ – Love People by assisting the IT Division in designing, developing, and executing test strategies utilizing the best practices of quality assurance to accomplish the overall vision of Joyce Meyer Ministries.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and maintain testing artifacts using well defined, industry standard best practices. Execution of test plans reporting in quality standards
• Continuous communication throughout the organization of the testing outcomes
• Coordination of UA testing per the quality plan
• Measure and report quality performance that contribute to the quality metrics defined goals
• Remain current on QA best practices and methodologies to proactively provide expertise resolving QA questions and concerns

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of software development and quality assurance
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Knowledge of manual testing techniques and test automation
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, tools, and processes
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication and critical thinking skills
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to deliver on time
• Ability to maintain an eye for detail even in high pressure situations
• Ability to review functional specifications, business requirements, and use cases and translate these requirements into test cases/scenarios
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams for ensuring quality throughout the SDLC
• Ability to execute manual and automated test cases and analyzing results on low/moderate risk changes
• Ability to identify, analyze, and document errors, questionable functions, and inconsistencies in software and data
• Ability to complete work with an awareness of potential impacts across systems
• High level of motivation, ability to deal with pressure, and adaptability

Education:

• College degree preferred
