Job Summary
B&A is looking for an
Quality Control Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting Customs and Border Protection
Responsibilities
- Planning, directing, and coordinating activities involving the SharePoint application platforms, including, but not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoots issues with SharePoint lists and libraries.
- Customizes SharePoint site for project purposes.
- Maintains records of SharePoint activity.
- Reports to company management with updates and information about SharePoint use.
- Provides technical support for SharePoint users.
- Addresses questions or concerns from business owners or directors regarding the function of the software.
- Planning, directing, and coordinating activities involving the Jira/Confluence application platforms, including, but not limited to the following:
- Managing custom fields, schemes, and screens within Jira.
- Managing service tickets for users within the enterprise.
- Managing spaces within Confluence.
- Managing the overall integrated agile environment.
- Managing Confluence pages, including Comala workflows.
- Documenting systems, processes and decisions within the Jira and agile environment.
- Advancing JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, and fields to be more user friendly and visually appealing, increasing innovation, use and legibility for project managers, customer, and other stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree and 4 years of relevant work experience. Bachelors degree may be substituted with equivalent years of work experience
Required Skills
- Demonstrates specific knowledge of the function and makeup of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Possesses knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security.
- Is able to handle confidential and sensitive company information responsibly.
- Possesses ability to think creatively to devise customizations and uses for SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
- Is familiar with website layouts and html.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
- Communicates clearly and effectively.
- Works well with a team.
- Is able to translate technical jargon into layman’s terms for explanatory purposes.
- Demonstrates ability to work and conduct research independently.
- Manages time efficiently and multi-tasks effectively.
- Is able to think and work quickly to remedy system shutdowns or serious software problems.
Security Clearance
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Federal security clearance
