Position Summary:

HILLWOOD Airways is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our rapidly growing Airline, headquartered and located at the Alliance Airport. This position requires the ability to perform inspections and other quality tasks during the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations on our expanding fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft.

Responsibilities:

• Perform required inspections of aircraft maintenance on our aircraft fleet in strict accordance with Company Manuals, Manufacturer’s Manuals, and all Federal Regulations.
• Review aircraft records for completeness and accuracy
• Perform Receiving Inspections of components
• Perform periodic inspections of work being accomplished
• Oversee maintenance being performed by external providers
• Additional duties and tasks as required
• HILLWOOD Airways operates a state-of-the-art hangar facility; must maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area at all times.
• HILLWOOD Airways aircraft are expected to be maintained and kept clean to the highest industry standards.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strict adherence to the Airline Safety Management System
• Ability to exercise individual initiative and sound judgement to make decisions regarding the airworthiness of aircraft and the quality of maintenance work, materials, and practices to ensure that all aircraft, engines, or appliances released for flight are airworthy
• Perform a Required Inspections Item (RII) of maintenance actions to ensure the quality of the workmanship and proper documentation of the inspection work is complete and accurate
• Possess the interpersonal skills to act as an integral member of the team
• Flexible hours, some travel may be required
• Ability to ensure proper handling of parts, units, and assemblies
• Ability to train on and operate Flightdocs™ maintenance software, Comply365® training software and Baldwin Aviation Safety & Compliance software
• Proficiency in Microsoft® Office365

Education and Experience:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
• Familiar with aircraft manuals and documentation
• Previous experience as an aircraft inspector
• Experience on 737NG aircraft is preferred
• Experience in auditing is preferred
