Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of the position is to perform the overall quality inspection of elevator controllers.
- Verify all components are per the schematics and/or Pick List.
- Verify all point-to-point wiring is per schematics.
- Verify all component labeling is per schematics.
- Verify all PCB labeling is per schematics.
- Verify all wiring is properly terminated/secured.
- Verify that overall physical and aesthetic attributes of finished product meet defined requirements.
- Clearly document all non-conformances discovered during inspection.
- Other quality related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education in electrical and electronic principles with two-year degree or equivalent experience and knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, test parameters.
- Use multi-meters and other basic test equipment.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Manual dexterity and good hand eye coordination.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and cooperative interpersonal style.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Elevator industry experience is a plus but not required.
