Millerbernd Manufacturing Company, located in Winsted, MN, is looking for a Quality Coordinator to join our growing team with our Ring and Cylinder Department.

Position Overview

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for driving adherence to key elements of the companies Quality Management System, documentation discrepancies, helping to resolve, contain and prevent product related issues.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for creation and updating of quality system documents
• Document Control Adherence (M-files)
• Create and manage quality metrics and data for tier meetings and other platforms as needed
• Perform internal audits of Millerbernd Quality Management System
• Responsible for internal and external audit tracking within (M-files)
• Coordinate internal preparations for 3rd party audits
• Creation and tracking of Corrective Actions
• Support Execution of Non-Conforming Material and Customer Care Process
• Resolve product and documentation discrepancies to prevent future quality issues
• Facilitate problem solving efforts
• First Article/APQP/PPAP review and management within customer portals
• Review of documentation for adherence to company & customer quality requirements
• Assist with internalization of customer quality requirements
• Assist with integration and maintenance of industry certifications (ISO/AAR/AISC)
• Create, assemble and store quality records
• Verification of final product quality data packages prior to customer submittal
• Assist with execution of external quality surveys
• Interpret blueprint drawings and specifications
• Provide administrative assistance to Quality and Production as applicable
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent, and experience in a quality setting.
• Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered
• Experience with quality systems and processes including internal and external audit coordination and preparation, document control processes and other common quality system tools
• Experience validating and providing insights to quality data for customers
• Formal Auditor Training a plus
• Able to work under limited supervision with some, but not all, standardized processes. Therefore an ability to think critically is required.
• High attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork
• Effective and appropriate written and written communication
• Computer literate; particularly in word processing, spreadsheet and email applications
• Work with others as part of a high-performance team
• Adapt to changing work priorities
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
