      Job Summary:

        The Quality Performance Analyst provides continuous improvement support to the NCH Physician Group by functioning as an analyst, facilitator and/or Admin support as required. This individual will work throughout the system with a broad range of provider groups to leverage benchmarking and best practices to improve and promote patient and quality care. This position will serve as a facilitator for clinical performance improvement initiatives and guides the development, ongoing review, and implementation of evidence-based guidelines. The guidelines provided by national and medical organizations that provide strategies for health care quality measurement and reporting. Facilitates and supports multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical performance improvement goals and objectives. Position will identify opportunities for improvement and work closely with the EHR team to incorporate those improvements into the current systems. The Quality Performance Analyst will work collaboratively with the IT team, the Revenue Cycle team, the Population Health team, and NPG Operational leadership to assure data entry is accurate and complete. This position will also support the administrative needs of the NPG Operational Leadership when necessary. At all times this employee will conduct their work efforts with the goal of providing high quality, efficient service for the patients and payers of the NCH Physician Group.



      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
        • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation within areas as assigned.
        • Utilize the EHR and population health analytics to track performance of clinical outcomes and quality metrics.
        • Design, build, and maintain databases, dashboards/reports/models; Interpret, create final recommendations, and present the results to key stakeholders.
        • Streamline data collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics, create and update documentation on database construction, changes, and refinements.
        • Work in tandem with Operations and IT to recommend, test and implement modifications to both workflow and the EHR to develop and enhance clinical documentation tools that help meet program requirements.
        • Partner with EHR vendor regulatory team to continually test reporting tools to ensure data integrity as it applies to Population Health.
        • Educate providers, new and existing staff, and community partners on workflows, and documentations efforts that impact quality performance metrics.
        • Assist practices with workflow improvement processes to support improved office efficiency and patient-centered management.
        • Assist with development and management of the NCH Physician Group quality metric program.
        • Responsible for overall maintenance of NCH Physician Group quality performance scorecard
        • Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results Identify, pursue, and manage all incoming data files.
        • Perform in depth analyses of current trends to enable organization to diagnose and respond to changing competitive landscape.
        • Create and maintain databases and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity.
        • Support Operations in the success of Primary Care First and other value-based programs
        • Develop and monitor workflows so ensure both clinical and financial success.
        • Develop analytical tracking tools to ensure improvement and success with program criteria.
        • Monitor quality metrics specific to Primary Care First and MSSP ACO.
        • Assists the NPG Administrators and/or other manager(s)/supervisor(s) with department’s administrative activities, assisting and coordinating various administrative process and/or projects.
        • Assists coordinate travel for NPG administrators and visiting physicians.
        • Assists in coordinating site visit itineraries and supports providers with onboarding needs.
        • Supports our Provider onboarding efforts with analytical data as needed.

      Education, Experience, Qualifications:
        • Bachelor’s Degree in business, public health, health administration, finance or related field required.
        • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality metrics and or data systems as it relates to physician quality reporting and population health data analytics.
        • Experience with MIPS and quality reporting in an ambulatory setting preferred.
        • Experience with database and multifaceted projects.
        • Experience with CMS and other nationally driven quality programs including risk-based provider documentation.
        • Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
