Job description

As a Quality Technician, you will assist in the process of inspecting and testing for single cell dispenser. Duties may require interpreting results, equipment operation, inventory, participation in complaint investigations and calibrating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run QC test for single cell dispenser.
• Precise and meticulous observation and recording of all details of QC data for single cell dispensing
• Keep a clean and organized workspace
• Maintain inventory of reagents and consumables needed to perform QC
• Participate in continuous process improvements efforts

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of relevant experience;
• Or, an Associate’s degree (Biology, Chemistry, or related engineering) and up to 1 year of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Work independently with minimal supervision on routine tasks
• Experience with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
• Have experience with pipettes sample into the sample cartridge
• Flexibility to work on multiple tasks with increased effectiveness
• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and quality
• Manages time well and will put in extended time as needed
• Understanding of basic statistical principles

Physical Requirements:

• Daily pipetting and computer work
• Occasionally lift and/or move objects of 10-35 lbs
• Frequently required to move throughout the laboratory
