Additional Training Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Ability to type 35 wpm. Familiarity with medical terminology, procedure and diagnosis coding preferred. Working knowledge of computer with Windows based applications required. Excellent customer relations skills. Ability to effectively communicate with doctors, patients, and other healthcare personnel.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
