The Radiology Scheduler plays an important role on our team processing referrals, reviewing orders, and scheduling patients for various imaging exams (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Mammography, Dexa).
What You’ll Do:
- Handle incoming calls, enter appointments into scheduling system, assist with general customer service requests
- Verify insurance eligibility/copayment amounts and collect patient payments
- Process and review status of referrals or authorizations
What You’ll Need:
- Previous medical front office experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- General knowledge of healthcare insurance and terminology.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Windows, email, EMR, scheduling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
