Supervisor, Interline Operations

The Station Supervisor, will foster and support an inclusive and high-performance operation where customer service is at the forefront. This role assigns and oversees the work of Airport Services team members, stepping in to provide hands-on help when needed to exceed customer expectations. The Supervisor mentors and develops the skills of team members for continuous growth and learning. By demonstrating open and honest two-way communication, the Supervisor ensures a successful operation at the station.

• Promote and maintain a culture of safety at all times
• Lead a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment to meet and exceed operational targets while maintaining service, timeline, and compliance requirements
• Establish and maintain a culture that encourages communication, and where all team members feel valued, connected, and engaged in the success of the operation
• Recognize and celebrate individual and team performance
• Responsible for supervising the daily activities of Interline Agents including scheduling, attendance, and discipline
• Evaluate individual and teamwork performance and provide necessary feedback. Coach and counsel as needed and document discussions and improvement plans
• Lead briefings with a focus on planned changes, explaining reasons for changes, safety topics, performance, and recognition
• Monitor, assess, and report on team and individual performance
• Complete shift and daily reports to share performance with the local team and leadership
• Provide assistance to team up to and including performing the duties associated with the Interline Agent role as needed

• Other duties as assigned

We'd love if you have some of these...

• Six months of supervisory and leadership experience required
• Airport experience highly preferred
• Previous experience working in a unionized work environment
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Proven excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience coaching and counseling employees on performance-related issues preferred
• Self-motivated individual able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Able to lead, motivate, and successfully communicate with a diverse workgroup in a positive and productive way
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
