The state-of-the-art facility is nestled on 30 acres of peaceful New England woodland in historic North Kingstown. The campus is conveniently located just minutes away from both the airport and downtown Providence. AdCare RI is also located close to pristine beaches and recreational areas for outdoor, therapeutic opportunities. The newly renovated facility is outfitted with semi-private rooms with private baths, fitness center, basketball courts, and many other amenities.
Full Time position 12:30pm-9pm.
Assist patients by conducting groups, guiding them through crises and by being available to them to process progress/obstacles in recovery.
Qualifications:Qualifications
- Minimum of a HSD or equivilant degree required.
- Good interpersonal and crisis intervention skills, including oral and written communications, and group facilitation.
- PADC preferable or eligible within one year required.
- Experience in either inpatient/outpatient or residential settings required.
- Knowledge of chemical dependency and the 12 Step Program a must.
- Computer skills required.
