JOBWHAT’S THE ROLE? The City is looking for enthusiastic part-time staff who must enjoy working with the public and youth of all ages. The Recreation Leader position is year-round that includes seasonal duties for summer programs. Work schedule is limited to 29 hours or less per week and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on program needs. An eligibility list will be created to be used for future vacancies.
Our Recreation staff plays an important role in our service to the Chino Hills community. Recreation staff must be responsible, safety minded, friendly, and have a great customer service attitude!
JOB FUNCTIONS: The Recreation Leader will be assigned to one of the following vacant divisions to assist with programming needs:
Community Center: Assist with clerical support for class and event registrations, facility rentals and customer service using computers and related software
Community Park: Assist with athletic field preparation for sports events, light maintenance and supervision of City designated parks.
Grand Avenue Park: Assist with coaching youth sports programs and supervision of adult sports games. Processes program registration. Assist with athletic field preparation for sports events, light maintenance and supervision of City designated parks
