We are currently seeking Full Time Recreation Therapist / Activities Coordinator to join our enthusiastic team at The Hearth at Drexel!

The Hearth at Drexel is a premier retirement community in Bala Cynwyd, PA.
We take pride in our dedicated team members who support and care for our
residents.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Certified by National Council for Therapeutic Recreation specialists, CTRS or NCAP or NAAP Certification (preferred).
• Experience in social or recreational programming with senior citizens or in a health care setting.
• Eligible for Helping Hands certification.

Shift/Schedule Available:

• 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Monday through Friday, and every other weekend

Our Activities Coordinators are responsible for assisting with neighborhood events and The Hearth community life events including creating a diversity of opportunities for meaningful pursuits of resident leisure time (daily pleasures, opportunities for developing friendships, growth and learning) while creating personal routines and household rituals. This position offers expertise and guidance to staff to grow the neighborhood in the field of community life, which helps to improve the quality of life for all residents.
