Job description

We are seeking a recreational therapist to provide services in Harris County. (Houston and surrounding areas)

Contractor will be assisted in developing a caseload of clients. Contractor can set their own hours. Contractor will be responsible for meeting with clients on a weekly basis per amount of hours in treatment plan allowed.

Contractor will work with ages 3-18 years old. Contractor will have the opportunity to work with a variety of programs from school districts to mental health agencies. Contractor will have the opportunity to work in person and through Telehealth.

Contractor will be involved in a strengths-based team planning process. Contractor will be responsible for meeting with client in the community or the client's home. Contractor will provide appropriate interventions related to client's treatment goals.

Contractor will be joining a team of talented specialized therapists. We provide a database of interventions and other information for you to access through our website once you join our team. You will be assisted in growing as a recreational therapist and we will support you every step of the way.

Required:

Must be certified and have credentials through NCTRC or CTRAC
Reliable transportation + Auto Insurance
General Liability Insurance
CPR/First Aid training
Safety Care/De-Escalation

This is a part-time contract position that can lead to full-time hours. Contractors will active caseloads will be provided access to free online CEUs.
