Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist

Supervised by: Executive Office Administrator

Job Overview

A Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, screening and hiring qualified candidates. An onboarding specialist is responsible for the overall management of the organizations onboarding process. Through training, support and routine audits you will ensure an optimum onboarding experience for new candidates and assist the buildings in filling open positions by efficiently processing and hiring qualified applicants.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or previous experience relevant to the position and with the skills to successfully fulfill the job requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential. Organizational skills to effectively meet competing priorities.
  • Effective Communication skills like good speaking, listening, and writing skills
  • Organizational skills to adeptly and effortlessly access and store numerous kinds of data consistently
  • Confidentiality skills to handle secret and delicate data and info that must not be shared with other people
  • Remain professional at all times
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Remain a neutral party when employees raise concerns, complain and or ask questions

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Recruiting

  • Maintain the Hyatt Family Facilities indeed account, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and branded messaging
  • Review resumes, screen candidates and assist with hiring when administrators or hiring supervisors need assistance
  • Create and implement recruiting campaigns
  • Monitor campaign spend daily, weekly and monthly
  • Pause ads that have multiple resumes and work with Administrators or hiring supervisor to hire eligble candidates
  • Assist buildings in posting ads on relevant platforms
  • Plan and execute or participate in career fairs and cold call/cold contact recruting efforts
  • Assist with designing and updating job descriptions
  • Partnering with hiring supervisors and managers to effectively address recruitment needs and issues in a timely manner
  • Posting advertisements to internal and external media
  • Create an applicant tracking system
  • Train new staff on how to use indeed account and or other platforms
  • Keep up to date on legal requirements of advertising

Onboarding

  • Work in partership with the payroll administrator to standardize the onboarding process and train buildings
  • Conduct routine audits of new hire onboarding for compliance and employee satisfaction
  • Create and track new hire spreadsheet
  • Maintain relevant files on the HFF Resource Center

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour
