Position Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Analyst role is essential to the reporting and operations for the City of Dallas. This position will be responsible for all Talent Acquisition metrics by using different sources of information, build spreadsheets, dashboards, reports, and presentations to meet business requirements, including reporting of team performance, support various TA strategy activities and initiatives as well as support team hiring efforts such as posting positions, support hiring events or career fairs.

Human Resources: This position will be responsible for all metrics reporting and attracting and recruiting exempt and non-exempt talent for the City of Dallas Non-Civil Service Departments. This position will build reports and run weekly, monthly, and quarterly metric reports as well as support assuring the integrity of the data.

Essential Functions

1. Responsible for all Non-Civil Service Talent Acquisition metrics reporting . Producing accurate and standardized reporting with key insights to communicate operations performance to leadership team.
2. Provide ongoing support and enhancement of metric reporting to align with best practices.
3. Perform routine and ad-hoc operational reporting and analysis of talent data from multiple systems.
4. Manage complex data sets from disparate systems, connecting and cleansing data to resolve underlying data integrity issues (Workday, Neogov)
5. Effectively build applied analytics through advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques using structured and unstructured data, and deriving trends and actionable insights
6. Build the reports to support various TA strategy activities and initiatives.
7. Report weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually reports to report KPI metrics
8. Understand the full cycle recruiting process including the requisition process, posting, sourcing, screening, refer candidates to hiring managers, interview process, and candidate experience in order to build KPIs that can measure the TA results.
9. Support in maintain applicant tracking system up to date by managing job requisitions according to TA team needs.
10. Participate and contribute to various recruiting meetings, strategic initiatives, and projects.
11. Assist in Hiring events and other hiring efforts
12. Prepare process documents and PowerPoint presentations as required.
13. Regular, reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business analytics, computer science, data analytics, economics, finance, human resources, math, or statistics field.


EXPERIENCE:
  • Three (3) years of HR analytics experience including:
  • Talent Acquisition metrics
  • Reporting
  • Processing and interpreting data

EQUIVALENC
IES:
  • High school diploma or GED plus seven (7) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • Associate degree in any field plus five (5) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a non-specified field plus five (5) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in a specified field plus one (1) year of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements


PREFERENCES:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint and advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e., pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • Prior experience with Workday Recruiting?

The salary listed on this job posting is the entire salary range for the position; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.


For evaluation purposes, acceptable qualifying experience for all positions must have been in a paid capacity unless noted otherwise in the minimum qualifications for the posted position.

Additionally, 30+ hours per week will be counted as full-time employment and will receive full credit for the amount of time employed. A minimum of 15 through 29 work hours per week will be counted as part-time employment and will receive half credit for the amount of time employed.
