NARA Northwest is growing faster than ever. We are looking for an experienced full-cycle recruiter who can add to our dynamic team of exceptional recruiters. This is a fast-paced environment that requires lots of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We have fun while providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for a recruiter who is confident and can bring new ideas to the team. This is a in-person position.

The Native American Rehabilitation Association is a diverse company who employees individuals from all over the globe. We have a strong sense of community and look to expand the non-profit organization to help more families and people in the Portland metro area. Our clients come to us for medical, dental, and mental health assistance at one of our 11 local facilities. We take pride in what we do and go above and beyond to meet our client’s needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Full cycle recruiting for all NARA programs. Including medical and mental health programs.
  • Current on HR guidelines/ employment law for federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Create and develop job descriptions for department managers.
  • Guide and assist candidates in completing pre-employment process, including but not limited to criminal background checks, MVR reviews, drug screens, reference checks, credentialing, etc.
  • Administer new employee orientations and ensure proper documentation for benefits and legal compliance.
  • Provide point of contact assistance for staffing issues.
  • Research candidate sourcing options.
  • Develop creative sourcing techniques.
  • Represent NARA at recruiting events.
  • Coordinate applicant interviews for managers and supervisors.
  • Maintain recruiting data.
  • Assist HR Team Members as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Entry Level Position
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
  • Proficient computer software skills (Outlook, Zoom, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRIS).
  • Experience in social media recruiting campaigns and knowledge of SEO use preferred.
  • Experience working with LinkedIn, Zip recruiter, Mac’s List, and Google ads highly preferred.
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations.
  • Experience with internal and external recruiting.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; high degree of accuracy; flexibility, and ability to prioritize effectively in a team environment.
  • MUST be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
