As one of the leaders of the DirectDefense sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business revenue throughout North America and developing a best-in-class sales team to help grow your territory.
Major Responsibilities:
- Drive new business sales while managing the sales process from prospecting to close.
- Regularly meet or exceed your quarterly quota.
- Conduct effective discovery calls with prospects.
- Deliver dynamic and engaging presentations and product demonstrations remotely and in person.
- Build a pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities within your territory.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required.
- Ensure excellent service and support to prospects and customers by creating long-term business relationships.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
- Utilize Salesforce to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account, and effectively manage your territory.
- Management and ongoing mentoring and development of Regional Account Executives.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability and desire to work in a challenging and competitive industry.
- A risk-taker with a powerful work ethic and a hunter mentality.
- Self-motivation and comfort working with a small sales team in a startup environment.
- A competitive, passionate and enthusiastic personality.
- Organization skills.
- Previous work experience with Salesforce.com CRM is a plus.
- Prior cyber security sales experience is a plus.
- Experience developing talent as a Manager or Senior Account Executive.
