GWFS has a requirement for qualified Neonatal ICU RNs to provide direct patient care services in the treatment of Military Health System (MHS) beneficiaries in the Tacoma Washington area.

*Position contingent upon contract award*

Project Summary:

• Duration: Projected up to two (2) years
• Rate: Highly competitive - will be provided upon contract award
• Benefits: Yes
• Schedule: 40 hours/week with possibility for OT
• Registered Nurses shall be a graduate of an Associate Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree from accredited school of nursing (National League of Nursing).
• All RNs shall maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE withing six (6) months of hire. Contract nurse employees may attend MAMC BLS and ALS recertification if space is available and at the discretion of the department COR.
• Specialty certifications such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification is highly desirable.
• A minimum of one (1) year of qualifying experience in the specialty is required
• A strong working knowledge and skills to use a variety of computer systems.
• A strong working knowledge of the military health care system and computer documentation is highly desirable.
