Position Title: Oncology Registered Nurse

Location: Rochester, NY

Job Type: Temporary, 13 week contract

$105 - $115/hr | $3780 - $4140 Weekly ( Based of experience)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team in Rochester, NY (USA). In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with oncology-related illnesses while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessing and monitoring vital signs, administering chemotherapy, and providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with oncology-related illnesses

- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients

- Communicating with patients and their families to provide comprehensive education and support related to cancer treatments and medications

- Administering IV therapy and medications as prescribed by the physician

- Documenting patient care activities and outcomes in patient medical records

- Monitoring and ordering supplies as needed

- Providing emotional support to patients and their families

Requirements:

- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current state license in NY

- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in Oncology

- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to work flexible hours and be available to work weekends and holidays

- Must demonstrate excellent decision-making and critical thinking abilities
