Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit - Stamford & HSS Collaboration - Day Shift
Job description
Hospital for Special Surgery and Stamford Health have entered into a unique collaboration to create the premier center for advanced orthopedics in New England, offering a level of inpatient and ambulatory care unrivaled in Connecticut. The collaboration includes dedicated orthopedics spaces, including: three inpatient operating rooms with related pre-operative and recovery space and 19 inpatient beds in the Stamford Health hospital tower.
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who will coordinate & deliver patient care in our 19-bed in-patient Orthopedic unit in the new Stamford Health hospital tower.
Schedule: 13-hour shifts, Day Shift: 7a-8p, rotational weekends & holidays.

Required Skills
1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
2) Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut, NY RN license also highly preferred
3) BSN or enrollment in BSN required
4) BLS certification required
5) Minimum of one year acute nursing experience required; orthopedic nursing experience highly preferred
