Role Description
Recording and monitoring a patient's vital signs. Promoting well-being by educating patients on self-care techniques. Consulting with doctors and other medical staff to determine the optimal treatment plan. Administering over-the-counter and non-intravenous medications
Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Evaluating mental health needs of patients. Developing treatment plans. Providing psychotherapy services. Providing personal care. Coordinating with families, doctors, and other health professionals. Administering medications. Responsible for the direct care of a set of patients, facilitating their recovery through social interaction and traditional therapies. Provide care to individuals who have acute and chronic mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, depression, dementia, or psychoses
Registered Nurse Requirements

Experience in a Psych setting is strongly preferred, Psych RN-Adult, Geri and Adolescent. 6 units, ranging from child and adol to adult and older adult/geri. RNs must be flexible and ready to float depending on the needs of the building units. Basic computer skills. CT RN license required Current BLS certification required (AHA approved).
