Designated as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and known for its specialized infant care, this 245-bed medical center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and has received numerous awards for quality and patient care. Also offered: cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, diabetes, and emergency services.
Facility Location
One of the oldest communities in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, Tarzana is located on land once owned by author Edgar Rice Burroughs, who named it after his legendary hero Tarzan. Today, instead of rural farmlands, modern Tarzana consists of single-family homes, parks, a library, various shopping destinations, recreational centers and country clubs.
