Calling all VET TECHS! CARE is currently recruiting Veterinary Technicians that are looking to grow their skillsets and expand their careers in the veterinarian field. The Position: We’re looking for passionate veterinary technicians to join our team! We have positions available in our Emergency and ICU services.

Schedules available:

• 1st Shift: 6AM to 3PM on a 2/5 rotation
• 2nd shift: 2PM to 12AM on a 2/5 rotation*
• 3rd shift: 9PM to 7AM, 7on/7off (work 7 days, have 7 days off!)*

*A $1,000 signing bonus is being offered for 2nd and 3rd shift!

All schedules offered are full-time, overtime is available and you are able to pick up additional shifts which may have bonuses attached!

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience is required.
• RVTs are preferred but not required, on the job training is valued too!
• Provides compassionate care to patients
• Knowledge of automated laboratory lab analyzers, digital radiology
• Able to lift 40lbs unassisted
• Able to safely restrain patients for extended periods of time
• Critical thinking
• Emotional Intelligence

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients
• Assisting the hospitalist and specialists in all aspects of care
• Restrain patients safely
• Digital radiology
• Automated and manual laboratory analysis
• Assist in physical exams
• Venipuncture
• Induce, intubate and monitor patients under anesthesia
• Provide compassionate customer service to our clients
• Client education

The Company: Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency is a state-of-the-art veterinary facility offering 24/7 emergency care and board-certified specialty care. Board-certified specialty services offered include internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, surgery, oncology, and ophthalmology. Our advanced diagnostic services include ultrasonography and echocardiography, electroencephalography, endoscopy, rapid-scan CT imaging, high field MRI, and cardio cath lab, in addition to many others.
