Job description
This position assists students enrolled in the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training course and other noncredit courses and their employers. Excellent detail oriented and organizational skills a must. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Follow up on student inquiries and complaints• Pro-actively research, problem solve and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner. • Provides proactive customer service. • Process student requests for withdrawal, drops and in-completes.
• Maintains student records. • Input and ensure accuracy of student data in University and department databases and student records. • Completes section changes, password resets and other student and course related requests.
  • Assist students on navigating on-line courses and basic Internet navigation.
  • Develop and maintain rapport and communications with students, staff, instructors and vendors and answer their questions in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
• Process, scan and file paperwork related to course registrations and other student and course related documents. • Ensure student records are up-to-date.
  • Proactively identifies and seeks information that needs to be updated and submits it for updates to email templates, flyers and other documents. Notifies management of any updates that are needed to documentation outside of their control or prevue.

Education: Associate’s degree or higher

Experience Level: Minimum of 2 - 5 years of Office Administrative experience required. Post-Secondary Education administration experience not required but preferred.

Must possess the ability to work well within a team environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, with an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred. The ability to work on multiple projects and priorities is key. Must have excellent organizational skills, as attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively is critical.

Knowledge and Skills: Learned knowledge and skills to support a variety of routine tasks requiring some degree of difficulty.
May exercise independent judgment and discretion on operational matters.

General regulations, guidelines, or policies already exist; however, must apply professional body of knowledge in interpreting the regulations. Adheres to University policies, precedents, and procedures; sets priorities and organizes work. Is provided with general guidance/oversight.
Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment. All international degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES).
