Document Control Specialist
PAY RATE
$32-$34
LOCATION
Candidate must be located in Pacific Standard Time and work those hours
SUMMARY
The client is looking for a Document Control Specialist to manage change control and help drive best practices into the company. Enel’s document control Specialist will utilize their breadth of experience to make the change control process as efficient as possible while maintaining high user satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and approve ECRs for completeness before converting into ECOs
- Convert ECRs into ECOs including applying the correct approval routings
- Identify bottlenecks in the ECO approval process and work to eliminate them
- Create Management Reports in Reporting Module
- Manage Quality Module within our PLM tool (Arena)
- Setup and train internal and external customers on the use of the PLM tool
- Document Policies and Procedures and release them into our PLM tool
- Facilitate updates to the tool with Arena
- Contact Arena as needed to resolve issues with the tool
- Monitor Arena license needs
- Manage Arena aspects of corporate system integration projects (e.g., purchasing, MRP)
- Review existing documentation and part structuring for correctness and completeness
- Able to work with the following programs on an intermediate level: Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Explorer and Windows
- Update Compliance docs in ARENA
- Works with ARENA Consultant on best practices
- Coordinates Weekly CRB Meeting – Control Review Board – for all MCO, DCO and ECO activities
- Works with cross functional groups: Product Marketing, Sales for creation of various configurations in ARENA
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years Document Control Administrator experience with at PLM System (Arena preferred) preferably in external manufacturing.
- Experience managing electromechanical devices and working with global and cross-functional internal and external teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience across all phases of product development from prototype to mass production
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment
EDUCATION
Associates Technical Degree or equivalent.
