Remote – Insurance Sales Agent

The Auto Club Group (ACG) provides membership, travel, insurance, and financial services offerings to approximately 13.5 million members and customers across 14 states and 3 U.S. territories through the AAA, Meemic and Fremont brands. ACG belongs to the national AAA federation and is the second largest AAA club in North America.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS AN INSURANCE SALES AGENT

  • Speak with customers in a call center environment to offer and cross sell insurance solutions, provide information about their existing insurance policy, and resolve customer issues. This will include outbound calls to current and prospective customers.
  • Earn a competitive base salary plus commissions; also earn bonus payouts on call center metrics to include but not limited to:
      • Number of Calls Handled
      • NPS Scores
      • Quality Assurance Scores
  • Offer new insurance products, process policy endorsements, reinstatements, and new business applications.
  • Balance workload priorities to ensure successful execution.
  • Keep records of customer interaction and transactions, documenting details of conversations, as well as actions taken.
  • Resolve customer’s service or billing issues.
  • Follow up to ensure that appropriate changes have been made to customer accounts.

Total Compensation Overview:

  • Insurance Sales Agents will earn a competitive annual salary of : $35,100 plus uncapped commission; Averaging 68K annually.

  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and fast paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills

Required Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent business experience
  • Active Property & Casualty License
  • Proven Professional Sales Experience Required or Recent College Graduate with a Degree in an Applicable Major
  • Willingness to learn and develop sales knowledge in the insurance industry

Ability to:


  • Ability to troubleshoot minor computer issues.
  • Desire and capability to work from home

Home Office Requirements include:


  • A designated workspace free from interruptions and distractions
  • Workspace large enough for 2 monitors, laptop and phone
  • 100mb per second high-speed Internet with ability to connect a computer and phone line directly into a modem
  • Personal laptop or computer (Chrome Book or Tablets will not provide the necessary bandwidth to perform duties)
  • Personal cell phone with ability to download company apps for network access

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable in a cold-calling environment
  • Experience in a call center environment

Legal Requirements

  • No felony convictions within the past seven years
  • Credit report with no open bankruptcies or showing delinquent debt over $50,000

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This position involves sitting, standing, walking and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing lifting, and carrying typical office equipment. Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting.
  • Finger and hand dexterity is required for frequent and continuous operation of all office equipment.
  • Normal or corrected hearing to the level of ability to receive detailed information orally and to accurately understand normal conversations, both in person and on the telephone.
  • Ability to process, express and exchange information orally, in writing, presentations and through online applications.
  • Mental and emotional ability to work effectively in a busy environment, interacting with people and dealing with difficult situations.
