Silver Leaf PMS has a part-time contracted opportunity available for a qualified Certified Medical Billing Specialist for private psychiatry practices of various sizes. We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable individual with a minimum of 2 or more years of medical billing experience.

What You'll Need:

• Experience with Ketamine Billing is required
• Excellent knowledge of insurance carrier billing and reimbursement with knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT codes
• In-depth understanding of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
• Ability to work independently with little direction
• Must be willing to provide services to multiple providers
• Must have your own equipment!

What You'll Get To Do:

• Perform patient insurance benefit verification for upcoming appointments
• Responsible for charge and payment entry within Electronic Health Record
• Ability to prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.
• Answer questions from doctors, patients, staff, and insurance companies.
• Prepare, review and send patient statements
• Responsible for correcting, completing, and processing claims for all payer codes
• Perform various collection actions including contacting patients by phone.
• Correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers.

Compensation

The starting pay for this position is $22.00/hr DOE.
