In this role, you will assist engineers throughout the secure development lifecycle in adhering to security best practices, as well as developing and maintaining tools and systems to keep our products secure and our customers safe.
Key Responsibilities
Work with engineers to ensure secure design and development practices are understood and followed
Stay informed about cyber security related events, technologies, and emerging threats in order to provide situational awareness to appropriate stakeholders
Identify potential security events in a timely manner, reach an understanding of the potential impact of events and anomalies, and ensure corrective actions are taken when appropriate.
Assist in developing technical solutions to automate repeatable tasks
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further security enhancement
Required Skills & Experience
Knowledge of and the ability to identify common application security vulnerabilities, especially the OWASP Top 10
Ability to triage reported security issues, determine their validity, and provide guidance to engineers
Basic aptitude in writing code, e.g. (but not limited to) basic scripting in Python, PowerShell, or bash
Knowledge of contemporary hardware, software, infrastructure and network architectures and their associated best practices
High level of integrity and sound judgment concerning security, privacy issues and complex situations
Effective, efficient written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
“Nice to Have” Skills
Experience with Microsoft Azure and/ or Amazon Web Services
Experience with security tooling, such as source code scanners, network scanners, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), etc.
Experience with penetration testing techniques and/ or ability to write basic proof of concepts

National: The salary range for this position is $77,200- $143,400
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
