Job description
Position summary: Creates re-order Inventory Stock Orders to vendors via Lawson. Performs cycle counts and inventory verifications on stock PAR levels. Creates stock locations for new items coming into the inventory. Monitors all PAR levels. Maintains electronic supply system/inventory system (Lawson). Distributes supplies and equipment throughout the Material Management Department. Creates Purchase Orders for all forms that are used by PVHMC, oversees the process of Ordering and Receiving of all forms. However, receiving functions must be performed by Receiving Clerks or Supervisor only. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
LICENSURE: Must have a valid California Driver's License; must be insurable under the Hospital's vehicle insurance EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent CERTIFICATION: Must pass Power equipment certification class within six (6) months of hire EXPERIENCE: Must be able to lift, push and carry objects weighing 25 pounds; Two years buying experience. Working Conditions - Category II. Required Skills - Simple bidding and bid summarization. Computer applications including spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in health care.
