Responsible for processing service orders, trouble orders, billing
adjustments & extensions, meter work, hilos, itron, CPO and/or line
extensions. Handles external and internal customer requests/inquiries
relative to billing, rates, credit and collections, energy management
programs and outages. May support phone queries when needed.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:( % of Time,Primary / Secondary)
1. Performs necessary on-line maintenance to properly bill accounts,
and make monetary adjustments to accounts, on a daily basis. Responsible
for daily completion of meter work relating to DR meters and theft of
service cases which involves analyzing account history to determine
applicable charges.
2. Complete daily and monthly processes to support Escheatment, Summary
Billing, Sales Tax Exemption, and other special programs.
3. Processes all types of service orders and trouble orders, including
sets, turn-ons, turn-offs, changes, etc.
4. May complete BERA, Hilos Itron and CPO on a daily basis.
5. May support phones queries on an as needed basis (may include
researching customer usage to satisfy customer request, reprinting
bills, etc).
6. May process all company returned mail. Maintain address updates when
customers or post offices provide address corrections. This includes
E911 address updates.
7. May review bills in special handling and distribute to appropriate
departments.
