This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position, and this position is on-campus (no remote option available).

The College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines is hiring a research assistant to work on a grant in the Nursing department. Specialized training will be provided for use of biomedical devices used to record interface pressure, tissue oxygenation and skin temperature.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with participant recruitment
• Scheduling
• Preparation of participant folders & study materials
• Data collection
• Preparation & clean-up of the research site

Additional responsibilities may include communication with participants regarding schedule-related concerns, data entry, data cleaning and preparation of the initial manuscript draft.

Preference will be given to applicants with healthcare education and/or experience.

Requirements & Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Successful completion of criminal history records check

Work Location

• Northern Plains Center for Behavior Research building on UND's campus

Hours & Schedule

• Starting compensation: $17/ hour; Part-Time; Non-Exempt; Non-Benefited
• Hours per week: 10
• Hours of work may be flexible
