Job description
Working under the direction of the Co-Director of the Program for the Advancement of Surgical Equity (PASE), you will assist with reviewing medical records, data extraction and cleaning, and focus on the domestic project for Implicit Bias in the Trauma Resuscitation Bay: Disparities in Care for Marginalized Groups. This multi-center prospective trial is working to assess the
degree to which provider’s implicit biases introduce disparities in to the care of trauma patients.

Salary range: $18.06-$35.78 Hourly
- Demonstrated ability to organize, initiate and work independently to address
responsibilities; must have strong time management skills and ability to independently
prioritize tasks and re-prioritize work based on knowledge of research objectives. - Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to effectively and
clearly communicate research goals, participant's obligations, benefits and limits to
study participation in terms understood by participants; and ability to discuss sensitive
health and emotional matters. - Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with culturally diverse population (cultural,
socio-economic status, educational, cognitive) in order to efficiently establish rapport
and cooperative, collaborative working relationships. - Demonstrated ability to work with persons with highly sensitive health issues.
- Demonstrated excellent skills in using PC’s and Microsoft Office Programs.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in order to meet changing priorities.
