Eurofins Agroscience Services has an open position for Research Technician at our site in Prospect Hill, NC.

Research Technician responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

• Plant and maintain crops used for studies.
• Maintain study data and facility records in organized manner
• Assure accurate and complete collection of study data and report timely to Sponsors
• Participate in periodic GLP training
• Able to obtain NC pesticide applicators certification.
• Use of study management database, as required
• Supervision of temporary workers, as assigned
• Assure safe use and provide training of farm equipment, machinery and/or vehicles by facility personnel
• Working outside normal hours and domestic travel in a short notice will be required

The ideal candidate would have possess:

• Agronomy experience
• Knowledge of operating farming equipment and electric tools
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs equipment
• Experience with driving tractors and trailers
• Experience with irrigation system
• Knowledge of basic construction
• Able and willing to work around bees and other insects as studies required.

Basic minimum qualifications:

• B.S. in Agronomy/Associate Degree plus two years of experience or High school diploma plus five years of experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Prospect Hill, NC are encouraged to apply.
